Have you been searching for a loving church that is faithful to the Bible and ancient Christian tradition?
If you have been longing for a safe harbour of orthodoxy then come home to the Anglican Church Traditional.
So many churches today are backsliding into false teaching, but our churches stands apart from the wickedness of our age by holding fast to the faith once delivered to the saints.
As a church family we love Jesus Christ, seek to obey His word and strive to share his love with one another and the community around us.
The origins of the Anglican Church Traditional stem from the Anglican Province of America (APA), a long established Continuing Anglican Church. As part of the APAs outreach they helped plant Anglican Churches in the Philippines which established the Anglican Church Of the Philippines Traditional. (ACPT). ACPT has been led by our wonderful Archbishop- Bishop Frederick Belmonte since its inception. We enjoy full apostolic succession.
For over 20 years ACPT has continued to grow and grow and grow in the Philippines and is now the second largest Anglican Denomination. ACPT has grown by being true and faithful to the Bible and not becoming a woke organization. All our clergy enjoy full apostolic succession.
As the ACPT grew, and churches were attracted to its unique model and steadfastness to the Bible, soon ACPT attracted interest from abroad. Therefore ACT was set up as part of ACPT as its International Arm. ACT is part of ACPT.
ACT today consists of a large number of individually locally controlled, self governing congregations and groups that are all independent. Some are high church, bells and smells, and some are more evangelical and relaxed. However we all share the same Congregations DO NOT pay ACT any money. The support that ACT provides to congregations and groups is totally free of charge. Clergy are trained and licensed by the ACT and full Episcopal oversight given. ACT also provides safeguarding services, CPD training for clergy, ACT is entirely self funding. This unique model allows congregations to concentrate its limited resources on growth without having to worry about paying a diocese a large parish share. Above all, ACT is a happy home for clergy. We have avoided the politics that has beset so many other continuing groups.
We enjoy a close relationship and friendship with the Communion of International Catholic Communities- part of the Old Catholics. We recognize their Holy Orders as valid.
